Sound Questions , Part One

1. Sound moves through what medium?

Sound moves in mechanical wave. A mechanical wave is a disturbance that moves and transports energy from one place to another through a medium. A medium is any series of interconnected and interactive PARTICLES. Sound can travel through gases, liquids and solids.

2. What unit is used to measure sample size ?

DEFINITON : Sample size or sample format us the number of digits in a representation of each sample. Sample rate would be the horizontal line and the sample format is the vertical line.

Samples size is measured in decibels (dB) that allows greater dynamic range, the higher the sample sizes.
